Plein Air Peconic Traveling Exhibition - Coming to a Location Near You!

The artists of Plein Air Peconic have created a beautiful collection of new landscape paintings and photographic works that featuring serene vistas conserved by the Peconic Land Trust during its 25 year history. Also included are some local parklands and waterways as well as some of the beautiful East End farms and fields that have yet to be preserved. The traveling exhibitions provide the communities of Eastern Long Island with the opportunity to see the art and relate through it to our beautiful area and the conservation strategies and success stories for which the Peconic Land Trust is known.

Paint Out!, July 17: 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Free admission. Plein Air Peconic Artists will be painting on the grounds of the Southampton Historical Museum with a small display of artworks.

Roundtable Discussion The Intersection of Land Conservation and Art: Participants: John v.H. Halsey, President of Peconic Land Trust, Alicia Longwell, curator Of the Parrish Museum, Artists Gail Kern and Eileen Dawn Skretch Moderator: photographer Kathryn Szoka,
August 12: 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Southampton Historical Museum Followed by a reception. Free admission.
